I know somebody that was away on vacation and got laid off by email. So if you were away last week and they are done with your group you should be okay.

Mark's email was for global product group, everyone under Mark is done the others are not
Should be over for IT. Unless you were out of office and they couldn't reach you
Those that have been out of their office on work trips or vacation will be very surprised when they come back to work next week. Just read Mark’s email.
