Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Bonus after being laid off

I'm sorry if this was asked and answered, but I couldn't find it on here.

Do people still get their bonuses even if they are laid off a few weeks prior?

Somebody in another thread mentioned that layoffs in February happen to avoid having to pay out bonuses, but it makes no sense to me that people would not receive a bonus even if they were already cut. They already did the work to earn it, after all.

Yes, you will get it.

Good luck in the coming days though.

Your bonus is based on prior-year performance. If you were an employee in 2019 at all, you still are eligible for your 2018 bonus and getting sacked prior to it being paid out will have no effect on your eligibility.

You are eligible for your bonus if you are employed at PepsiCo after January 1st 2019 so we are ok if they sh*t can us in the next 2 weeks
