That was a refreshing editorial and it certainly rang true to this ex IT Innovation employee from Austin, TX. I am personally disgusted with GM management from the top down to middle management in IT. So glad I am gone.
Tucker gave it to them, wow.
And you would think the left would be on the workers side. And there is not a peep coming from the left leaning meedia - FreeP was tracking events but there is no single opinion piece there.
Now its time to take sides, do you support the worker? Or the mgmt/investment groups.
There is nothing wrong in saying “you made 8 bil, invest the money and keep people employed”
The system that takes no care of people and families is not a good system.
Not a big fan of Tucker, he is so right on this one though
Are we this desperate that we are posting tucker’s news clip from Fox Entertainment News? Comeon - we all are fairly educated bunch here...!
I like this post:
There's absolutely nothing free market about the automotive industry.
It is an awesome commentary. Everyone and I hope including May Barra should watch the clip.
Thanks for posting. I normally can’t tolerate Fox News but the message was right on. I think GM leadership needs to take a major hit for their incompetence in this fiasco. The IT leadership team is the worst but the buck stops with Marry so it’s great that Tucker is trying to hold her accountable.
I wish CIO magazine would profile the implosion of the Innovation Centers that the GM CIO built and how people’s lives and careers were destroyed by his incompetence. But he his okay on his ranch in Montana!

I like how the video clips are building 2008 CTS sedans lol
He also pointed to the heavy use of Mexico and national adversary China, which is not being anti-capitalist, and the experience of being a person laid off in GM fashion. Also posed whether CEO is overcompensated which is a legit topic.
I think GM joined that movement when they took government loans.
This is what he said the other day:
Market capitalism is not a religion. Any economic system that weakens and destroys families isn’t worth having.
Fairly 'socialist' and 'anti-market capitalism' in my book.
Tucker confuses me...
With this piece, Tucker Carlson effectively joined the movement against free-market capitalism!
