Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Life after Sam's Club/Walmart

I left Sam's Club 2 weeks ago and have never felt so worry free. No more stress from the fear mongering. No more sleepless nights unsure of how tomorrow's tasks will get accomplished due to having minimal staff. No more extra duties on top of the mountain of duties already on deck. There is a life after Sam's Club. There are great companies out here that will pay you more for your talent, for your hard work and dedication. I would have never known if I didn't take the first step and start looking. I am praying for all of you still there worried about how you are going to feed your families, counting your pennies till the next paycheck or on the Even App getting money advanced from your check to pay off bills due to the company cutting hours that we truly need week after week. That was not a life for me. Life is supposed to be happy. Time is supposed to be spent with your family. If this company wanted to take care of their associates, they could have. I saw a ship that was sinking and did my best to plug the holes with my fingers. I felt the weight of the world on my back and I was no longer happy. Instead of becoming an angry disgruntled associate I decided to go out and find my happiness again. Thank God it did not take long. Happiness found me and I am working at an amazing company with a promotion and a raise. God is so good! I am praying for all of you all to find your happiness again. The first step is huge. The rest is downhill after that. God Bless you all.

I was part of the restructure last year and I left Sam's Club with that wonderful severance package that they give me. And look on the bright side people that might be laid-off you get a severance package how many companies gives you a severance package? I've never looked back or been happier. there are so many jobs out there that do not require you to work nights weekends with this great economy thanks to Trump you have options and do not have to day in the retail bubble.
