Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

PTO

Once again Walmart/Sam’s pull the wool over our eyes. This PTO for the new year is very unfair and shows that our company could care a less for its associates.

People we all need to unite and take back what is rightfully ours. Stop drinking the koolaid and understand that the upper management is getting paid an absorbent amount of money

The policy did change!! I went from earning 1 hour for 7.9 hours worked its now gone to 10 hours for one hour PTO, and I went from 264 hours total to 216 hours. With protected PTO it does go to the 264 but its limited on how you use the protected PTO. So what they've done to PTO is bull sh--.

PTO changed a lot:

Look at the difference compared to last year. Stop drinking the koolaid associates. Wal-Mart does something, only if it benefits them. We had a great PTO policy and now you have to work more hours to get PTO, like 30 to get 1 hour of protected PTO.

Check it out,do the math .

Search PTO on the wire. The new policy is on there. It tells you exactly how it will work.

hahaha...upper management gets hundreds of thousands into the millions per year...club manager is NOT upper management...they get paid pretty well but in company eyes they are scrubs like all of us in the field....

"Take back what's rightfully ours", just because you work for the company for years doesn't make the company yours. Even owning a portion of stock makes your "ownership" so minute that it's irrelevant. The company is going to do what it wants, get on board or get out, simple enough.
