PATHETIC!
Sukk it up trumptards
Randy and the Johns ain’t sharing none of the tax break with y’all.
Dissatisfaction with your job or the treatment by your employer does not qualify as hatred nor is it pathetic. Saying so suggests you think everyone should just suffer in silence or put on a mo--nic smile because yes, it could always be worse.
This site is one is maybe the only way we can provide honest feedback to upper management without repercussions.
And what are we going to do now that we know something that everyone else seems to have known? I'll tell you what-nothing- except wake every morning and feed the the hatred on this site about how life is unfair and how our lives would be much better if "they" weren't around. Pathetic.
It may not change anything...but if there is enough bad PR hitting mainstream media outlets it could cause them to ease off the gas pedal a bit.
Tax relief funded a dividend increase, stock repurchases and debt reduction. Capx spending was stagnant. Layoffs have been planned since log before the tax relief was even thought of.
Landline is going the way of the dodo bird, or, the stage coach and buggy whip. All the tax relief in the world isn't going to change that.
AT&T is using the tax money to deploy fiber, not engage in creating "make-work" jobs for the people who work the obsolete landline.
One thing the article got right: AT&T executives are starting off the new year by laying off hundreds of Americans and potentially thousands by the end of the year.
Yeah, that's right. Hundreds, not the 10,000 that the trolls have been making up.
Probably using the excess cash from the tax cut as severance payments and investments overhead into offshoring. You cannot blame them, their motive is to make money not employ people.
Laying off people is something they are good at.
All the companies got profit from tax cut and all the companies are laying off big time. Prepare and make ourself marketable again as those old times have gone and survival won’t be easy anywhere going forward.
It is good to see, the only problem is we all know it's not going to change anything.
Good to see this getting out there. They have been too successful in keeping it quiet for too long.
