It used to be called SATCOM Ottawa. Now, it is Sadcom. A revolving door. The best, the finest are leaving and will leave. Little leader, do you think your youngish Czech dudes can do Satcom? Yah, dream on. Little leader, do you think doing Agile, a framework -it's all it is, will make Satcom? Are you new? It's talent, little leader, specialized talent -not a dude from the street.
Oh well, little leader, keep it up you are doing a fine job, yes-man.
I am with you. Honeywell broke EMS, functionally and culturally speaking. EMS used to be an agile, innovative, high profit margin business and it attracted strong talent. Having a yes man of a leader doesn't help and kills employee morale.
I got out and I'm happy I did. It COULD be such a great place to work, but they just wont bother. It's astounding just how many people left.
It's still hilarious that poor SATCOM got snarfed up because HI thought they could get a shortcut into the OneWeb/Starlink space, only to find out the players wanted nothing to do with HI's process and rates.
And because SATCOM isn't US, Aero couldn't bring them into Space & Defense because of ITAR...
