He hasn't changed any during his time at Oracle - generally despised there, as the company goes through layoff after layoff. Meanwhile, he makes out like a bandit while lying about Oracle's cloud business.

Yes, Hurd talked a great line but in the end didn't really know what to do either. Then he proceeded to make it worse.
Herd plunged the deepest knife ever made right into the heart of HP(R&D) and let it bleed so much it had to remain on life support. In my opinion he is the worst CEO ever at HP and arguably among the worst in America.
I don't hold her responsible as much as many do. She tried but the damage was done. If she could have turned around the mess during the pre-split, she would have and gotten praise close to Jesus levels.
But it was unfixable. Carly started the path that only cutting and attempted acquisitions could solve. Hurt and Apotheker couldn't solve it long term. No doubt things needed to change but they failed.
So she finally (and rightfully) gave up. Scatter it to the wind and close the history book. But remember, most things don't last forever. They die. HP was no different.

I agree with all previous comments. But name calling is something I do not agree with. Why is being a Granny such a bad thing in society so much so it is being used as a profanity word. Every young man and woman today will become the grannys and old frt of tomorrow.
