Any thoughts on when we can expect next large round of layoffs? Not talking about the final dates of people who've accepted the buyouts but regular layoffs that will affect the rest of us?
I'm wondering if maybe from now on it will be focused on smaller ones like we've seen in the past several weeks (fifty here, sixty there...)
I was just in a HR training on how to career path store folks. All of a sudden, to try and make it seem they care. Morale is in the toilet. They lost 85% of store people. DMs Store managers and sales people are all looking over their shoulder. Many want out. Good ones too. They all will have trouble earning that same money. Especially sales people and store managers. DMs will be shocked also how other retailer pay. I hope they all are living in their means and saving money!
