ATT recruiting firm has summarized thelayoff.com and info from their clients in a interesting blog post. It states some ATT retirees are being chased by ATT Collection companies. Whats up with that?

It seems fairly accurate and may help. https://techstaffer.blog/

This is from over a year ago when AT&T Pension did an audit and determined they overpaid pension benefits to several retiree's...several thousand dollars each and they are attempting to recover those overpaid funds.

Does AT&T have a fiduciary duty to protect the pension fund? If yes this is probably why they are trying to collect over-payments.

Never underestimate the ability of AT&T to find some new borderline illegal way to cash from you, like Randall always said, "these are benefits and can be terminated anytime without notice

This has been discussed in past posts. AT&T hires collection firms on the Pension NOT the severance. Go back to the August posts and you will see lots of comments on this issue.

Also seems the word on fidelity problems are getting out. The story discusses issues with fidelity that are hitting the press

I actually have a past co-worker this happened to and they got a pension bill! He said he never paid it and it went away

I think this has to do,with severance overpayments, not pensions.

Good post. Going after retirees. The article states most other companies do not go after pension retirees if the company makes a mistake. When does it stop WTF?
