An e-mail came out entitled “A message regarding staff reductions” with the header U.S. Management Employees Only . Someone else can post the body of the email (basically called for empathy and sensitivity) if they so choose but the copy that was sent by my VP included the placeholder “leader signature” and his signature appeared below it so obviously a pre-drafted e-mail.

Same email out west for IEFS
Got the same from Snake oh I mean Nate.
Same letter from Hopkins , VP CDO (part of ATO)
This is not right, they could have at least sent something written by themselves and not a copy and paste statement. And the one I got... I don't even know who that person is.
Got the exact same email from Ostapower
Yep - same for those of us in Wireless Technology under Igal Ibaz.
I heard 3 whole US teams jobs are going to Mexico. About 60 people out the door.
Crocodile tears from corporate sociopaths. It's funny how they want employees to stay focused on working hard for a company that shows no loyalty to them and will lay them off as soon as it is convenient for AT&T.
Same from Mike Hargrove
got the same from Robert Walters - our VP.
The email below reads the same as the one from Chris Rice.
We got the same exact email but from Pat Hamrock ATO.
we got the same email. how ironic that the message promoting empathy is a lifeless copy paste of a generic template.

Jon Summers CIO Technology Operations just sent an email To: All US Managers yesterday January 28 we are not staff reductions that impacted our organization. At this time all impacted active employees have been notified those employees on disability or leave of absence that are impacted will be notified upon their return to work I know this is a difficult time, and the fact that some of her friends and colleagues are affected makes is doubly hard. For impact of colleagues know we are here to support you. I would ask that you we all demonstrate sensitivity.
