Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Randall Lynn Stephenson (born April 22, 1960)

Interesting how RLS served as National Chair of the Boy Scouts of America from 2016 to 2018. I wonder what the current Nat Chair of BSA would think of RSL's plans to DUMP all of his U.S. work force for disposable H1B Visa or Offshore contractors just for profits.

From what I've read on this Layoffs site about AT&T............ALLLLLLLLLLL of us will be gone in 2yrs. This U.S. company will be 70-90% contractors and the rest will be Golden Execs.

2017

R. Stephenson: Chairman, CEO and President: $25,300,661

J. Donovan: CEO-AT&T Communications, LLC: $12,527,518

J. Stankey: Sr. Exec. Vice Pres. AT&T/Time Warner Merger Integration Planning: $10,091,227

J Stephens: Sr. Exec. Vice Pres. and CFO: $10,318,522

.

.

.

And the man we all LOVE: j. McElfreshipants: Estimated 2018: $1,372,798

The world is doomed and job security if is a thing of the past. There are no Boy Scout type companies to work for any longer. Just do your job, smile, don't believe their HYPE. Keep your resume up to date and eyes open for your next job. Insecurity is a way of life i guess.

I'm sure the current national chair of the BSA would be happy that Randall is teaching us all to be self-sufficient and prepared for anything. You have made sure that you're prepared, right?

@uia "There are no leaders in AT&T" I disagree. I have a couple old Bosses (L3) still around that are very good leaders. Problem is they are as powerless as I am (L2).

They won't fire everyone. Just remember... For every one good AT&T employee, there are at least a dozen a-- kissers out there. You can read their c-ap on these post with all their delusional dreams of grandeur. Good luck ladies and gentleman. I got out from this hell hole about a year ago and thank God every day.

The term "leadership" is an oxymoron in AT&T. Whenever I hear that term used in this company, I have to laugh. It's a farce. There are no leaders in AT&T. Plenty of egos, big egos, but no leaders. Karma, baby, it all comes around again and these guys making a gazillion dollars that they don't earn or deserve will get theirs in the end. That's our only consolation.
