Union employee surplus date

Is there a date that union technicians will be surplused? I know the Monday, January 28th has been a date for management to start the 60 day clock but haven't seen anything in regards to a date for union technician positions.

THe labor contract requires the company to announce a surplus no later than the 15th of the last month of the quarter prior to the quarter that the surplus will actually take place. In other words, if AT&T pans to surplus represented employees in the 2nd quarter, the announcement will be made on March 15th.

Generally the surplus dates set between the company and union fall in the months of March, Jun, Sept, and December. This usually occurs around the 15 of each month. This doesn’t mean they can’t change the predetermined dates due to needs of the business.

Since TFS and IEFS are merging in 2Q I’d anticipate announcements to go out no later than 3Q.
