went to a better place, managers only work 40 hour work week! BBB should have taken note. The department managers would still be around had they taken note and gone on a 40 hour work week. I would have taken that as to being laid off after 20 plus years.

I too have gone to a better spot. Making more money doing route sales. Typically work 50 to 53 hrs., but nobody looking over my shoulder all day. No closing and no weekends. Never going back to retail again.
I too have a 40 hour work week and make 5 grand more than I did at Bbb. PTO is better also.
Yeah, if I as a department manager was given the option of a 40 hour workweek or be laid off, I of course would have taken it.
