"18" years at Oracle does not mean they did the same job. Same type of job maybe but same product? same role? no, and I know from experience.

It is hard to believe what Amit Zavery was doing when so much changes are happening only in NK org.

TK , NK , JK have taken Oracle 5 - 10 years back playing dirty politics, favouritism, personal interests .... Good that somebody woke up and has taken necessary and required action.
NK org is full of CMTS, Sr Director, Director, Sr Manager, Manager that no other QA team can come close to it. They build the huge network to grow themselfs in the organization by creating positions. Oracle woke up too late.

This was required in NK /post NK org . People really earning $$$ for company were deprived and people close to management got all the benefits with almost 0 value addition.
Some cleanup has happened ,a lot needs to be done. Lets see what HS can do from here
The nirguna org now reporting to siggi is worst hit by the layoff. All the high designated employee have there wife work in the same org. The promotion, hike, bonus, stock in there org was very frequent. The new management should look at the frequency of promotion, hike,stock option, bonus and reference bonus.
@XaEKJtC-zqk Later they re-hired you again, because they finally realized that some new fresh air don't even know how to do the job. That's the way how the management works. The deadwood is not the job you've been doing 18 years, it is valuable. The people who don't not value your job is the key, they are making the company down....

No one is junk. It is these big companies that are turning people into junk. if you are on a factory floor, checking quality of a product, and doing nothing else for 18 years in a comfortable job. You will be a junk when they decide to lay you off.
unfortunate. Remember people who get into status updates business, is because their job is molded to that role. Those guys clean up hell lot of other sh--, which developers are not even aware of. Everything is part of running the business. So this superior feel of ones who generate (sometime sh--ty) code & design is uncalled for.
paas qa had piled lot of junk people who just do status management.
Paas QA is hit, unfortunately. Some good old friends got the notice yesterday, but still on Aria as of today
deletes done in ARIA already? If they were RIF'd today, they'd still be in ARIA until at least tomorrow.
Based on Aria I see 300 gone in total from LJE. 30 People were in PaaS QA org

Yes, from PaaS QA org. I know of at least 10 people from my team (IDC+NA+Europe).
