Oh snap I can’t believe someone posted that. I always hear “ they are making money so don’t worry about it.” They throw away millions on stupid stuff when important projects are cut back to nothing. I wish that the PSL’s would be held accountable for their actions.

Thanks for clearing this up. I feel so much better now. In fact so good that I highly recommend any investor to do a deep dive of due diligence on this company.
I think that conclusion sounds about right.
Why the animosity towards GE ?
The belief is there is not any specialized talent in areas like technology so they have to import from outside companies. Take it or leave it.

Lifecycle was around before GP. It was just rebranded as his own. The Hfx seems to be a good idea. The optics driven culture has been a nightmare
Some of the GE management is really good. Thanks to GP, who pushed the product lifecycle despite So much resistance and there is still negativity about it. ROFL... Atleast there is visibility on what tech is doing. There are other exciting initiatives from technology that I heard of. All in all, the outside industry folks showed how the tech org should be and how should it be run. The management is receptive of new ways of doing things iff it adds value to the customers and improve our bottom line. The new processes are showing result. Period
THe problem I have is the company is still posting job read where GE, Siemens and United Tech are preferred. Sticking with GE portion, this is a bizarre epic fail of a brand and how does keeping that mindset even make sense. Actually if you read the news now about GE, they are almost branding themselves as genius for a turn around start.
GE mgmt is not genius as they would have avoided problems altogether says Confucius....

Obviously you are clueless, or don't want to face reality, but alas there is some degree of animosity that exists from the hal core towards the GE interlopers. now, maybe now, you can sit back and go hmm, yeah, i guess you are right mr. man. i wonder what this is so. Well, little fella, it may have something to do with the fact that despite existing hal core staff being capable, GE was brought in with the impression of being able to save the world so to speak, capable folks had to go to make room for that GE downhome goodness, that just , well.....never really worked out to expectations. remember when that packers fan packer got brought in, presented with a jersey , had a party in it's honor and everybody sat back and waited for good to happen..... and well.....phrnnnnnnt,
Baroid is a PSL?
So I am a little confused here. Just so we get it straight for the investors. GE does not run Halliburton. One needs to look at the Baroid PSL and the Completion PSL. They are the people that run Halliburton. If Halliburton has not delivered on ROI then look to Baroid and Completions. Maybe Halliburton should stop blaming outsiders for their poor performance which results in RIF's.
