Retail stores in my area are suffering. With headcount cuts and management cuts any small thing causes the store to be in chaos. One call out can make a very busy store run with only 3 reps. If manager goes on vacation you have the other managers working doubles to make it work. Morale is low and the customer experience is awful because of it. Is this just here or across the board?

What is Verizon 2.0 ?
People in my location are quitting left and right. Only the more tenured employees are trying to see it through. I would imagine those are the ones they want gone because they cost the most.
It's the same in the south east we have been short management for months. If one calls out or goes on vacation it makes everyone suffer just what the post said. With our leadership team so short handed they decided to lay off 2 more SMs. Verizon will have "UMatter" on your layoff documents. Store moral is at a all time low
The VAST majority of our employees in our district didnt even see a check in February they had to readjust before everyone quit
Store managers and SMs need to sell and pick up the slack. Way to many point and say do this or do that. Time to put words into action.
Hey buddy just quit, nobody's happy. Why work in that type of environment. Get a career that will make you grow professionally and not micromanage you to sell a hum
We’ll run on as little as we can, people who can’t adapt will quit and that’s OK to the company. This is corporate. Things will continue to change to benefit them, not us employees... we can be replaced (at a lowest cost!) Retail won’t be the same again. I’ve just come to terms with it.
There are stores that are busy? Get out!
Retail headcounts where high for way to long most store need between 6-10 reps a GM and sm that is a store needs. Facts.
