There is no PayScale.. HR confirms this. They use “ “Base Pay” compared to what other companies offer. If you transitioned into another role, instead of being RIF’d and retained your previous positions salary you can forget about a “base pay” raise. Chances are you are already over the “base pay “ amount. Humana should include base pay information with job descriptions to be more transparent. Also this a regressive model and they know what they are doing by using this model. Instead of having performance based raises, which would reward workers rightfully so based on their performance through out the year- they opt for this model instead. With the reclassification and role change project last year, some people were placed in roles that pay significantly less than what they earned in their previous role. Now they have to work in positions they are over qualified for or look for employment elsewhere. It’s interesting how this company after being successfully sued for discriminatory employment practices continues in the same behavior. Not just with regard to pay raises.
