My sister is looking for a job and I sent her here - https://www.att.jobs/
The link below shows 347 jobs in IT/Technology, but they could be anywhere.

Same boat, off payroll on March 28th. So far bstting 0-20 in the internal job department. Applied for 20 and denied on all 20. Having a bit more success externally, no job yet, but have received two “interested” responses so far. Unfortunately the salary is significantly lower then my current salary. But something would be better then nothing. We have no choice but to keep plugging away. Good luck everyone.
i got emails from at&t hr more than 6 months after being surplussed for jobs i applied for saying that i was not a perfect candidate but to keep looking ..... at this point i really knew the game was rigged
Same boat, same date, same process, no contact from any jobs I applied for, not even a negative one. Just use LHH link, they have good ressources in readings and they do a good job fixing your résumé, but they will insist %80 on people who found a job after SURP was through networking...depending on your field or what you wanna do, you can use Udemy, courses as cheap as $12 some days on discount to get some certifications under the belt to compete with India
also speaking from experience, concentrate your efforts externally while you are still employed and more marketable
Sorry to give you the bad news but the looking for jobs is a bogus scheme from company. They are not real postings. Of the 7, the system auto rejected those. The remaining are just labeled pending. I have a strong suspicion that it is only done on paper and recorded to meet some law, regulation, or to cover themselves against lawsuits. With all the systematic segmentation of layoffs through out the years and the repeated stories from former employees, nothing surprises me any more. And before anyone thinks otherwise yes I am a former employee that got surplussed. Doing 10X better now. So its not $uck$ToBeMe its Congratulations!! Sometimes we don't realize the hole we are in until someone starts covering the hole with dirt.
