To what level will the reorgs go? I imagine that regular company workers are the ones who will get hit the hardest and that the lower management will not be spared as well, but how high in the managerial pyramid will the reorgs be done?

The hardest hit was lg3+ that is where the big money comes. It is much easier to realign a region and shed 2 people who collectively make 2million gross compensation than it is to eliminate 40 merchandisers.

they will profit of the occasion indeed to eliminate some of the critics in the lower management , middle management will for sure be spared , some directors wil get some well paid seniority leave as way of example , all other , normal , employees are collateral damage . Performance with purpose as always.
