Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Domino effect

It doesn't stop on just GM employees. Plenty of others are affected by the bad decisions of our management.

A company that provides industrial services inside the General Motors plant is the latest to announce it will permanently lay off its workforce as a result of the GM facility being idled in March.

When I was 18 Ross Perot I remember very well , he was the first person I voted for when I was legally able to vote , he was absolutely correct. I wish Michigan could have stayed strong , very sad how greed has destroyed our great state , no one really cares I guess.

Lessons of the past are soon forgotten. These lessons will never be known by the younger crowd, unless they choose to educate themselves about these topics.

There's nothing new under the sun. Those that have done this a while, know what comes next on the macro scale.

Anyone ever been to Flint? lol. That's what happens when companies like GM pull out, everything else around there is affected. Not just suppliers and contractors who work directly with GM, but restaurants, retailers, car dealers. Everyone is affected. I grew up in Flint. Just like Ross Perot said, there was a giant s---ing sound as soon as Clinton signed NAFTA.
