Are they expanding fios in north east or is it going to be a thing of the past..

There expanding in upstate NY. FiOS internet and phone is alive and well. FiOS tv is dead.
Yeah, FIOS is dead. It's why they just sunk millions into the refurbishment of the FIOS NOC in assburn. Place made me almost want to stay.
Landline s done . Probably sell off . I would think a few packages offered between now and 2023 would clean house
What happens with contract if they sell off wireline?
I guess after the contract extension landline will be history

Customers like and want fios unlike 5G and Oath
Fios is done , contractors doing 5G
Our fiber splicers have no work and are told to go out and do find it fix it type of work....so basically they are doing nothing. And the second level is saying we have “all of this work” to do. I guess it looks good on paper.
We were told they are going to finish up the CO’s that already have fios but are not going to place it anywhere else. 5G is the new flavor and they still don’t know how to get the signal from the pole to the wireless ONT. Gonna be years before we see it in the field.
So the thought is there will be no more FIOS or tech jobs?
Yes it’s dead in the water like our landline jobs.
