This is absolutely a non issue. Asms will get paid for hours in the building, most good ones work more than scheduled anyway
All managers except SM and district support are affected
Are ops asms included?
The company didn’t change them just because, they did it for the simple reason it will save payroll, the asm will discover at the end of the year, short money!!
This is the same thing they did too dept mgrs to eventually get rid of them. They can now actually track when the asm works and the Sm or ops can’t protect them. The ops mgrs are the ones they should watch, they are always finding a reason to be out of the bldg.

They were scheduled 50 hours and worked 47.5 after lunch
With the new plan, their salary is based on working 50 hours. They are scheduled 50 but work 47.5 after lunches. In order make the same amount they have to make up the 30 minutes lost to lunches daily.

Assistants will no longer be on salary. The pay structure is just like department supervisors. Hourly rate plus OT starting 3/17/19
This isn’t going to go well with the assistants and I feel badly for them.
I’m not sure how BBB will avoid another lawsuit by changing their pay as they now have to work more hours to make the same pay.
