All you people talk a good game on here, but nobody has the balls to voice these opinions during colleague meetings. Start speaking up or shut up.

Move on, plenty of good companies out there that can use your experience, it is a good learning experience for all the WIN workers of a company that was once good and how corporate executives ruined it for their own greed.
Plenty of former workers I am sure will voice their stories in the press in the next few years, like Enron after they sank.
I was employed at Windstream for almost 20 years. Almost...as it came to an abrupt end when I received a call while on vacation. My position was eliminated and I was told not to return to work. I did get a severance package. Only after signing off on a handful of paperwork protecting Windstream (of course). I had become a problem when I chose to speak up. I claimed harassment. Of course it was denied. But I was not the only one jobless...the employee that harassed me, GONE. Fast forward around 6 months I am looking at Windstream job opportunities. HMM what do I see?? Several postings for the same job I had when “my position was eliminated”. So I applied for each one of them. I received emails for each job telling me that I was no longer being considered for employment. HMM???? There is much more to this story that is so wrong!!!! Huge back story with gender discrimination. I could go on and on but will end right here for now. Time for the punchline. Ironically, I had claimed tangible employment harassment. Check out the harassment training all employees are required to take. Classic case brushed under the carpet by the Windstream police. Do as we say not as we do. We are meaningless to them. Thing is...I WAS A GOOD EMPLOYEE
After a meeting with our dept President I asked to speak with him on the side. We were making some policy changes and the effects would make our job harder. It would add confusion into our base processes. I intelligently explained how the decisions would negatively impact our team and the company going forward. I offered a couple viable solutions that had the same outcome which I ran by our entire team. Everyone was in support of these changes instead. His response 'If you don't like the decisions I make we can find a job for you on another team.' He didn't even bother defending his bad choices.
3yrs later he is replaced. LinkedIn shows he is still looking for a job. The change is now deeply embedded in the network and it wont be undone. Windstream now has to live with it, fundamentally making work more complicated than is has to be. Welcome to the Win.

I do agree that Stream is basically for sukking up.
I also fully expect the 'IT WASN'T MY FAULT' video from TT will be followed by the usual gang that throws out stupid cheer-leading responsed such as; "Great Post Tony", "We are with you Tony", "2019 is going to be a WIN year Tony"........ad nauseam.
If you are afraid to call him out on his continuous lies then at least stop blindly supporting this lying id--t - You know who you are and the rest of the company does as well.....please stop it.
Windstream has Stream Police, if you go against what they want you to say, then they put you in Stream Jail, where they disable your posting access also they delete your comments. So what's the point to comment anything on Stream when they disable your posting access and delete your comments?
If you voice your concerns with your boss or his boss, they tell you this isn't a prison same as Tony did on stream. So what's the point to say anything?

Stream is for kissing a$$. I have had plenty of sit down meetings over my stream posts becuase while it didn't upset the executives it was criticism that some middle management type took offense to it. I honestly believe that this fantasy land built for the leadership comes from the middle management of this company. Talking VP and director level and it has done more to hurt this company in both culture and operations then any credit defualt swap could. I am leaving Windstream in the next few weeks becuase there is no hope. Clean house is the only thing that will have any impact on this company and that seems that it will never happen. I walk away with full network knowledge the kind you would want to keep especially if you have to thin the herd down to a few people. At this point I am willing to accept a hefty pay cut to leave, and that was pre defualt Friday.
I would suggest you all do the same. They are going to cut more and more, but the levels of management the principals and consultants won't go anywhere but your cube neighbor or yourself will be cut. The severance packages seen in previous layoffs will not be a guarantee. These are the kind of layoffs where they toss you out. I suggest going ahead and moving any personal items back to your house and preparing for the cut.
I know for a fact that you cannot voice any concerns ... I basically was told to drink the kool-aide or I could be released. Approximately 6 months later I decided to leave on my own, this company did not deserve my hard work ethics and dedication...I worked extremely hard, working through lunches, breaks, etc. When they slapped me in the face, I decided I am done with this company, they (Windstream) lost the focus, lost the importance of a customer, lost the importance of good, hard working employees, not a company I would be proud of to work for...so I left after 30 years. No one threatens me. Windstream and their execs get what they deserve!
Well speak uo at 5pm est Sunday. We'll see.
To the OP, TT made it very clear numerous times that if an employee did not agree with company direction they should leave. If you're an employee maybe you could go check Stream. If memory serves correct, he posted his this when employees spoke up.
If you truly think you can voice your mind at Windstream without some sort of unofficial reprisal, then you probably don't have an e#. Most of us are told what to do and don't have much say except in how to complete our tasks. Even middle management has little input.
Anne had some good workers and some awful ones. Anne made too many excuses and hopefully it caught up with her.

I voiced my distaste for what goes on at Windstream.
They’re making excuses to cover up they missed some fine print like they put In customer contracts. I love it. They just got the rate increase.
