With regards to layoffs, "Make the company more money" or they'll continue. If you're focus is that, have the fortitude to begin with your boss and his shallow strategy of buying company after company, failed merger after failed merger, forgo the obscene C-level bonuses, and use the free cash flow on hand to pay down debt. But that would be the ethical thing to do, and we all know that doesn't happen without a PR photo opp.

Only collaborating I’ve done since being back in the office is my two balls catching some sort of rash from the toilet after I had to take a dump from eating expired food from a vending machine.
Here's a start for you McFreshy- Bring back all the customer service jobs from India and Slovakia. Our customers HATE dealing with foreign tech support who do not speak English as a first language and are obviously reading from a script.
Improve customer service, delight the customer, and you'll be on track to making the company money.
You're welcome McFreshy. I'll take my million dollar bonus now.
Glad I am out of there as well. Life is good.
As a tech, it's not responsibility to make the $$$ money.

Folks have too much emotion invested in T, which is not reciprocated by the company.
They have no loyalty to you, your family, your situation.
Work, hang on, cash the checks and try to run them out of $$$. Fly low, smile and wave.
It's a job...nothing more.
Glad I'm retired.
I have seen some of the project lists showing the multimillion dollar savings. Always wondered how saving a dispatch equated to a $200 plus cost saving per dispatch.
I thought I was the only one who laughed out loud at that remark.
Look, I'm happy to take on P&L responsibility when made an Officer. So the question is, will I take on Officer responsibilities without being elevated to that role?
AT&T SHOULD RE-BRAND ITS NAME, A LUFE TIME OF DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES and borderline illegal fine print IN THEIR CONTRACTS comes to mind when I m shopping for services, FINALLY I CAN CHOOSE.
McFishly is FakeNews. I’ve witnessed literally millions in actual real dollars saved and those folks were shown the door.
They don’t even realize Customer Service stinks and Repair is too worried about productivity numbers to repair anything! Clueless!

Who knew all it took to be the President of a BU was the ability to tell your reports to make money for you? There’s no way you could pay me millions to do some thing that difficult! I’m not built for that kind of strategic thinking.
