I know a lot of people are waiting for an eisp and I saw a comment about the company not offering any because people are just leaving without one. Doesn’t the company understand that there are a lot of us who have the time and want to go, but are too young...5-10 years away from social security to leave. At least an eisp would get us 4 years closer to SS if you took the payout over 4 years, and they would reduce their headcount that much faster. Without an eisp, I’m stuck here for at least another four or five years...as I’m sure a lot of other people are.

I would say dont hold your breath.
Too many back stabbers in this company and they say there your union brothers, even the stwards who are suppose to help the members, new or old.really they have half my time in the company , they dont know what brotherhood is.unions are in a sad state these days...
Rumors I’ve heard are that there will be an EISP in June. That’s what local management said the rumor among their peers is.
I think it’s good to make new posts about EISP offers so it doesn’t get lost down too far in the thread.
For those id--ts that complain, I guess they are simply too stupid to just not read them if they’re not interested.
Oh, I guess the eisp guy is doing daily posts now. Weekly ones were not enough. I guess he or she is one of the 7 million Americans that is 90 days past due on their car notes and is getting pretty desperate for their handout.
Keep posting eisp dude! Eventually all your hopes and dreams will come true!
@rem - If you have $2 million in savings, why would yoi meed to work until 70 or need to get a payout to quit? Go enjoy life and stop wasting it working. Holy $hit...."I have $2 million but want more."
If I could give 100 +s to A-sxd, I would. That post is the truth.
I have 25 years and about 2 million in savings counting pension, 401k and personal savings. I make about 40 dollars an hour for doing nothing. I will not walk away from this job without being paid to. its just too easy and the money im paid is crazy for what I do. ill work until im 70 if I have to while waiting for an offer, hell, I may not even take one if I get it. I had many over the years. if you figure out the offer over 4 years its peanuts compared to what we make and that don't count the money they match on the 401k.

Every month there are different rumors...one says widespread, next is small and targeted, one is coming in February, now its March, no wait...it’s May. No one knows what’s going on and there are too many trolls just posting for their own entertainment.
1500 per month for 4 years makes it easier then zero income for those four years. Don’t be a hater because you are either a manager that was denied the vsp or a wireless non union associate who’ll never be eligible for an eisp.
Why does the company have to pay you to leave ?! If you want to retire, retire. If you cannot afford to retire without the EISP, what makes you think you can with what is essentially an extra year and a half’s worth of pay?
Thank you Captain Obvious, your service is commendable.
Also, kudos for feeling this was such vital, important and deep thought that it needed its own new thread, rather than adding it to one of the 10 or so active EISP threads already here.
