Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Need to thin the herd around here so layoffs are a good thing

Traffic has been getting worse with each passing year. Need to have it at 2009 levels again around here. A mass layoff every several years will help with this.

If we don’t get enough voluntary castrations (I identify male), will the involuntary castrations be performed in front of our coworkers, like the involuntary separations?

Also will we be offered anesthesia?

This whole GM experience is wierding me out, but I understand the need.

VEP/INVEP the voluntary and involuntary execution plans are a last resort to lower traffic, costs, emissions, crashes, and other bad things, but don't think about it. I repeat don't think about last resorts. DON'T think about it. Get back to work.

Hey OP...Great minds think alike!

To reduce traffic, we are developing the Voluntary Castration/Hysterectomy Plan (VCHP). If we don’t receive enough volunteers, we will implement the Involuntary Castration/Hysterectomy Plan (ICHP).

Due to the abject failure of our Hail Mary attempt of Zero-Zero-Zero, this transformation is necessary.

It is great ideas like yours and mine that make for a better world.

Very Truly Yours, mtb

I'm sure the traffic will drop off in a major way once Mary moves all the engineering jobs to Silicon Valley in 10 years.

Obviously, you survived the layoff and didn't care about the people who got affected. Why don't you just keep your mouth shut and let the people who have compassion with others talk? Such a shame!

I was keen on the pre-2000 levels. Let's take it down another notch. You volunteering?
