Goodbye, State Farm.

Day of reckoning for State farm is on the horizon and MT was chosen to steer the ship in preparation for it. Time will tell if he was successful or not but, as of now, it's not looking good.
To @XB0yvzp-7xmx,
I think the previous poster was referring to this news release:
“The State Farm property-casualty (P-C) group of companies reported a combined underwriting loss of $6.5 billion in 2017 on earned premium of $63.9 billion, compared to an underwriting loss of $5.5 billion on earned premium of $61.7 billion in 2016. The 2017 underwriting loss, combined with investment and other income of $4.8 billion, resulted in a P-C pre-tax operating loss of $1.7 billion.”

What do you mean by billions in operating loses in the core business? SF was very profitable especially in the core operations in 2018. I’m just curious if you just don’t know how to read financial info or plainly make things up?
dead weight slackers leaving....settle in and enjoy
Everyone leave. You deserve better. This is a junk grade company.
I doubt if it was only dead weight slackers leaving, they would have raised the base CS salary over 20k to over 50k. State Farm can't keep newer first line claim personnel and it's quite obvious in claims why that is.
Poster who did this
"Congrats on auditing stats 101 at community college"
Prime example of the level of intelligence quotient given a free pass to stay at SF.
It is pronounced simply Statistics. It is not data it is a science. One of requisites if you become an engineer which I am going to out on a limb and say you are not....it was short limb BTW
Oh only if we all had the fortitude to force our children to study,,study....study. Then we wouldn't be like below and we would have resources that could confer and come up with viable and lasting solutions to problems that SF is trying to solve.

Dead weight gone??? #fakefacts Dead weight gets shifted and good solid employees have been lost. But I’m sure it’s like talking to the wall and no matter what argument presented the kool aid drinker he/she can’t be reasoned with. Which is exactly the company’s issue. The inability to look at itself without the rose colored glasses and do what’s right by customers and by its employees. Instead data is generated and then manipulated to use as an excuse get where the company wants it to be then push the data and not be honest and transparent with the data......which is exactly the reasons the company is trying to chance to the new times. So Kool Aid drinker if this is working so well then one should look at policy losses and how many qtrs have policies been down????? Hmmmm. And if things are so great why have EOM culture? Because EOM before doesn’t work and EOM culture is starting to fail because promises were made about changes and all that is provided are inches to a mile which again is opposite reason given for why the company is doing all of this. Agile, transparency, openness, developing people. #fake110%. Nothing more than padding the uppers bonuses with great investments (only thing saving SF). Yet the others, firstline leaders and employees get lower bonuses because policy gains are not gains they are declining and this is claims fault. laughable and awfully obvious, yet look over here at the pretty lights not the guy behind the curtain. Sad simply sad and NOTHING Merhle was trying to achieve.
Losing billions in core operating business, customer claims experience ranking in the tank, attriting customers daily, employee morale abysmal, agent recruitment quality low. Accelerating tailspin.
Congrats on auditing stats 101 at community college
If life is good with all the dead weight slackers leaving that means there will be a higher bar that you all will have to aspire to.
One other thing SA manager that now means that the merit increase Bell curve, I would call it by its proper name normal distribution but I am sure you wouldn't know hwat that meant so I am dumbing it down for you, There will now be more room at the far left for AHs like you. In case you don't understand it means without the slackers there will be average performers now pushed down because as we all know not everyone can be outstanding. Good ol normal distribution methodology of handing out merit increases.
Sidebar: If a corporation like SF would get rid of the people they needed to instead looking at the expense factor technically you would never have any left handers on the curve.
I wonder if they have a model to input a persons abilities, proven abilities, the abilities real world value, system knowledge(very important) and production output?
Maybe they should have one of them excellent systems programmer code up one for them. Oh wait I know why because most of them wouldn't know where to start.
So op with the slacker remark enjoy the new side of the curve you will be on...the left side that is.
don't let the door hit you on the way out...life is good without the dead weight slackers
