If, just maybe there is a possibility that there will be a new VSP what segment of the company and what type of worker could it be aimed at and, of course, at what time could it come? God knows they want to reduce even more, so I don’t see that scenario as totally impossible.

Agree. Managers will no longer be paid to leave. No need to pay all that $ when they can just lay you off with severance. The gift horse left the barn last year...sorry if you missed out
There will be no more VSPs. You will either be RIF and or you will be held accountable for your job performance and work you out by performance. But I wouldn't be to scared on the later. Most managers and above are so afraid for their positions the last thing on their mind is to hold someone accountable for performance. That might sound to much like the role they are suppose to be doing all along. So RIF is the easiest so make sure you are busy and that you have a direction if you can find one !!
