Early in the process in January we were told this is corporate wide with the same rules such as dates (3 weeks if you don't look internally and 8 weeks if you do) for all organizations. Employees will be notified Jan 28 so they meet the criteria for the pension calculation extension which says have to be off payroll no later than March 31. Standard severance up to 6 months. Letters, such as McElfresh's will be sent IF the org offers a process where you can notify your manager you want the package. Anyone heard of changes to this?

how can you say that the rules would be the same no matter the org? different contracts have different severance agreements built in to them. the company cannot just ignore that.
