Will be announced at YBM store managers will tell their TC and PC when they return. TC gone first PC to follow by Summer. Salaried ASM will take over and PC will train them. Don't listen to your MHRM they already know ,but can not say yet. People's lifestyles and they contito lie to us.

What is P/C or T/C means?
Good riddance pc tc at my store are most incompetent, lazy and a waste of payroll.
I'm sure this will be happening. When is the question. This has been talked about for a long time. Personally I feel with all of the legalities, a salaried mgr should be the p c.

It’s not like they have hr degrees or know anything about health insurance or 401k. So what purpose do they serve anyway? Usually just some fat female that couldn’t lift a box if her life depended on it. Kinda sounds like it’s about time they are thrown out.
I think the majority of us will take what we get and just leave.

I am a PC, whatever happens will happen. With that being said, I will take my severance no matter how much it is and get the hell out of Walmart!!
Not saying it isn’t possible that PC/TC could be eliminated; of course it’s possible, anything is at this point. But to disguise rumors and speculation as ‘hard news’ or ‘insider info’ is just getting old, and it’s not doing anyone any favors. Posts like these are part of the problem.
Very much agree. Stores will still run without Personnel. Other things are not in place just yet for them to be eliminated. Definitely agree that TC will not be needed
Maybe they are test a stores, but someone on /r/Walmart PC has till the end of the month to find a new position in the store so it's possible. Office eliminations happened in waves, could be the same here too. Let's be honest though, with all the changes, is it fair to have a tc who basically bugs people about pathways then finds busy work to fill the days? Free ice cream float day....I have to stand I'm the break room all day and make sure nobody takes two. (Actually happened when I need her help). It's time they go.. every eliminated positions comes with people posting about how the company can't run without them...but the company goes on...
Not so sure a store manager would know just yet but these are the facts I do know. MHRM meetings were last week. YBM this week. My MHRM and MM have been getting peppered for 2 months with questions about this so I would hope they make an announcement now. Sam's did eliminate some PTC's in test markets. If you search for Walmart "People Partner" you will see a few job listings for those replacement positions but for Sam's only not Walmart.
Same rumor as last March, the one before that and...the one before that. Ain't happening. I'll believe it when I see it. More than likely it will be Sam's personnel. They started using Workday months ago. We have not
The only TRUTH is that the only people who ACTUALLY know what will happen won’t say until an official announcement is made. Smart people have realized that nothing is concrete until it’s announced, hopefully after YBM. So until then, speculation only adds to the hysteria.
I appreciate you sharing this with us OP. You are right we are in this together. It’s obvious no one else is looking out for us, so thank you! My store manager said he knows about some changes that are coming that will affect hourly associates, but he could not go into details.
There are about 7,895 different rumors out there, and everyone is sure that the one they subscribe to is truth. How YOU handle it is up to you, I’m just not going to blindly follow rumor. I’ll wait for fact. It is what it is, whatever is going to happen will come out soon, then we’ll all know. Until then, everybody just needs to calm down and stop stating their beliefs as truth.
And that is fine how you choose to handle it. I however choose to be prepared. Everyone is different so do not get defensive. Your right no one knows anything that to me is even more scary. I trust my store manager. He'd not telling me to hurt me he's telling me to help me. If you don't like my response then don't follow it.
So you really know nothing then, since YBM has yet to happen and NOBODY knows for sure what’s coming. Nice of your SM to clue you in on his hunch, but I won’t personally believe anything until it is actually announced.
I just have a store manager that cares about me. I'm a long term associate and my SM told me . Mine a actually knows it's my livelihood and wanted to warn me so I can prepare on what I am going to do. It gives me more time than the time they will give us. I respect him for that. I'm sure everyone has heard rumors and they are hard to take,but we all know changes are coming. I felt like sharing so I can prepare you. We are all in this together.
Can you tell us where you are getting this info? Are you a SM or MHRM?
