Anyone that was previous let go know if they took only the 22 supplemental tax out? Did they take fica and Medicare also?

Treated like any other income is correct. It was also taxed like the bonus checks were (at a much higher rate) unfortunately.
The payout is treated just like any other income. All of the normal taxes are withheld.
