This might save 2 to 3 billion in opex but this is still a long way from the $10 billion opex reduction promised to Wall Street.

I don’t take the offer and I got the generic hand email just got it a little later than some. Maybe they didn’t pay google for a real email distribution option.
I am one of the 10400. Though the HR email has not come out, my diector let me know that my last day will be the 28th. My leadership was informed on Friday afternoon about who was accepted and their release dates
But 10,400 only represents about 6.7% of total workforce, which is pretty low. That hints of more RIFs in the near future IMO.
And now we wait until the Martha email. I dont know why it cant be sent earlier....its not like they dont know who is gone
