This new retail comp plan is complete garbage the CWA has been out in full force recruiting retail workers to join and they are getting more numbers this time around due to the fact reps are sick and tired of having their pay messed with and sell more make less. For a company they make billions in profit a month it is the poster child of corporate greed.

Why try and join the CWA now? Is the CWA involved in NON-retail positions? I would suggest moving out of retail before focusing on a union. The union won't be able to save your job if Verizon gets rid of you first. I would say at max look at one year before your not even employed by Verizon anymore.
I remember driving by the strikers outside the Hazleton mall when I worked there at the CO. 2 guys with signs standing in the rain.....
IBEW and CWA have waited for years for the Wireless folks to pull their heads out of their asses, and unionize.
Hasn't happened. Want to know why? Well, so does CWA and IBEW.
They would rather watch their jobs turn into little more than McDonalds employees than stand up.
Heard this one before. The CWA is out selling empty promises. Did the same in Brooklyn Everett and Hazleton. Took those employees dues money but never impacted sales comp. now those employees have less money in their pockets and non-union employees. Sad. Don't fall for it.
