My DL told me today that stores who don't make 30k a year will be at operating hours minus 10. So we are open 8 to 10 which is 196 hours. And our budget is 186. :/

I dont work open to close unless there is a callout but 10 or 11 is normal. Also lets not be all high and mighty and pretend that one 8am to 9pm shift with 6 or 7 hour days for the week is harder than a week of 10 or 11 hour days. You work your base and leave.
Lol most shifts my pharmacist work are actually only 6 or 7 hours. 8am t91o 2pm
I know managers who use all the hours they need on FS and go not get in trouble. Most are the ones that are considered good operators. It is your business use the hours you need to run your business. My god cosmetics are to be reset in Jan and then all plan o grams start over
Bs you wil leave at 4 in the afternoon. You came in at 8 . All of you lie about how much you work. None of you work open to close. It is a normal thing in the RX to work open to close but not FS. Bunch of liars
I have no idea what stores your in but thats not the case hete. I get my truck in an hour and ill be here until its finished which will be 14 or so hours from now and you bet your butt ill be on the sales floors all of those hours.
I have visited many stores across the south for a company project. Stores have in most visits no customers in them, and are poorly stocked. I get a feel of yuck! Usually one employee in the store and that person looks like they are just desperate and took the job because nobody else would hire them. Yet to see a manager on the sales floor, I have to ask for them and they appear from the office, this happens 100 percent no matter what time I arrive! Not sure the company plans but this surely can not continue you are just taking a paycheck, try making your company better at your level
That should be plenty of hours for 30k per year. When you do $500 in sales a week, just throw a side stack of something , a few rounders , and keep your cosmetics in-stock..and you could triple in sales! Your truck must come via a laundry basket of product to fill up last week’s $500 in sales, so should be doable.

I am in So Cal - talked to my superiors about 10 min ago and they told me they do no anticipate any cuts in hours any time soon (we are super short on everything including labor)
Why do you think that optimization won’t be apart of MSH? Why do you think store manager hours won’t be on my schedule? All setup so there won’t be any lawsuits. Opening the store by yourself and being alone for hours.

Not sure where you're all at but we went to 2x opening minus 15 last year. I would love to have your hours!
Also an 8-10 here. I physically cant make a schedule that puts extra on truck and sign day, keep within state laws of minimum shifts on what I have at least. Unless I literally do a day open to close by myself :,) pay cut starting to look okay.
