We had just hired several new people when they decided to close our club. They were all taking cbl's. They did not get severance but they got paid for 60 days. They aren't running around telling the managers like everyone thinks. Management usually gets the news a day before the rest of us. I'm sure they feel the changes in the air. But until then they have to continue on like normal.

They would hire one because half of the GMs don’t know seriously. This is a game to them that they are playing quietly. I’m not surprised. Take time to look at all the small changes that are happening in the clubs and in the different markets. It’s not happening for no reason. This is not a damn test. We can all sit around and think this it’s “fake news” but when sh!t goes down you have a choice to make. Get your popcorn ready

Then why are they trying to hire my club an overnight manager if they are just doing away with the position. I get that they are rolling this out slowly, but why would they hire someone and then a month later just do away with the position. Just leave us alone til the change and then be done with it

I can see them giving 30 days. That ends up being the end of fiscal year

Cash office and audit team received 60 days because their job was eliminated. Claims, receiving and dock associates received 45 days because their job is still their (not eliminated) just retitled/restructured. There was a reason for the diffrence in the time frame. Dont ever assume that they pick and choose, there is structure to what HO is doing.

They can give however many days they want or don’t want. Audit and cash office and closed clubs got 60 days. Receiving and claims got 45.

Yes they will be offered a severance and be allowed to continue working overnight until January 31st. The change over happens January 5th so if associates do opt to continue working overnight and take severance, the club will have to have a manager cover overnight to supervise those associates
