Whatever happens, myself and my INCREDIBLE team is going to flourish. We don't need 3 letters before our name to make or break us. Retail is retail and if we can do SO much with the little we're given, AMAZON can (and will) take us all.

Sm if you can get an interview anywhere else to be a manager, be sure to let them know you kept plan o grams up to date and price changes 100 percent and did cycle counts daily. That will go along way explaining the skill set you can bring to their company! Maybe you can fake your way through the sales and profits part of interview that other companies are most interested. Do not forget to mention also you managed 4 people and never more than 1 on your shifts. Your skill sets are what every company looks to hire!
Former SM who switched careers here. Here’s the bottom line, and it’s rough to here. Your SM skills (if you don’t have business management degree) means jack outside or retail. If you are counting on being brought on board by Amazon, you are making a mistake. RPHs and office personale, sure, there’s plenty of opportunities. But for SMs, it’s retail or you have to start over doing something else.
I started over. Took a 70% pay cut, for my health and my family and my future.
This just shows your stupidity. Amazon doesn’t want you, they want people who will automate your job. They want you to pee in a bottle and work in factory conditions from the 1920s.
That is Not your team. Do not think because you are let go they will follow, their loyalty is the paycheck. My team what a hoot
