I don't agree with the central premise of this article. So far we've just seen shutting downs of those smaller streaming services and not a hint of a new and a more unified approach. I get that they want to get rid of the unprofitable parts of the business, but that’s far from a successful strategy. If you can’t offer something that nobody else has, at reasonable prices, you will just end up losing subscribers. It’s as simple as that.
