Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Effective Decisions are exemplified by Infrastructure Planning.

Effective Decisions are exemplified by Infrastructure Planning. For example the merit increases, RSU and spot bonuses given to members of our team last year served to recognize and motivate the most capable knowledge and talent in the company. When you empower your top assets with the recognition they deserve the results pay dividends. Look no further than Line 3 which was designed, planned and managed by our group and is the only major pipeline to be built in Canada in a country that sorely needs it. You can mock all you want, but that just shows you are envious. When really you should be appreciative, we put our heads down and contribute with our brains and hard work to advance Enbridge and the energy industry as a whole. So do we deserve the special financial recognitions that get passed our way for our invaluable contributions? The answer is yes. It's an effective decision to put your resources where your rate of return will be optimized.

Ah the sheer audacity and leadership that only the tower could take on.... A cookie cutter replacement job fueled off the mountains of contract engineering design work driven by guise of "replacement" perpetrated by the artificial run away train cost overruns of the dig program after entirely premature coatings failure of the original line 3 slung along by years of piss poor planning to address the actual failures in arguably a much more cost effective manner. Do tell, what part of this did any of you wizards engineer and plan for? How about you remove that firmly planted noggin from that trap, drop by the field some time and share your thoughts. I am sure the poor b--tards that keep this jalopy running would love to hear how important of a visionary you are. While they continue to shoestring repairs on this nightmare of garbage equipment to keep the lights on back at the ivory tower. I am sure your accolades will be met with a standing ovation as your a-- hits the ground after being tossed over the gate.

Merry Xmas friend.

Last time I checked operations gets sh-- done...they are the ones working all hours of the night, in harsh climates, away from families for days, dealing with regulators and clients breathing down their necks to keep those lines going!!!

IP person have you ever actually been on a field site? take your over inflated ego to operations as you need a reality check!

Oh IP guy you are the answer to all our problems, we are so lucky to have you. You are going to solve the broken processes, reduce too much bureaucracy, get rid of bully managers and directors, reduce power struggle, tame the haters and backstabbers, make the incompetent competent, make the liars honest, and most of all uplift the workers morale.

What are we going to do without you?

No one is as valueable as IPLE guy! (Now IP Guy as the L and E got BOEF'd)

IP Guy keeps the earth spinning, fights global warming, and is ending world hunger.

IP Guy is the very glue that keeps atoms together! Without IP Guy there would be no sunshine, no moonlight, no long walks on the beach. The PM will soon dedicate a new national holiday in his honor. But he really deserves an entire week! We should all consider and appreciate all that IP Guy has done for us, we really are lucky that he has blessed Enbridge with his service.

How is it fair that IP gets raises? I have not gotten a raise in 2 years and I give my heart and soul to the company too. I believe my contribution is valuable as well.

IP guy is one of those “advisors” that tells actual people who actually do the work to do the work so he/she can gather all reports/end products so he/she can consolidate the reports and look good LOL

Fake news. PI driven project. Also not a big project in the grand scheme of things. 350k barrels extra. Your better that the IP guy, thought you went bigger.

The IPLE guy is obviously delusional and has some serious mental health issues. Any of his colleagues who recognize him should turn him over to a mental health professional.
