“Once every last polluting nation in the world pulls their own weight and makes further cuts according to their size, we can seriously start to address the so-called man made fossil fuel Climate Change issue.”...rather sounds like the Paris accords...which we just pulled out of!

“ a lot more than any nation”...is this a joke? We dropped our co2 by switching from oil and coal to gas, all good but not for any altruistic reason: It became cheaper! China has gone through draconian population grow reduction (one child policy) and is now leading solar. The third world is still building out coal like crazy, but had to blame them for driving their scouters too much with the number of single occupancy suv and trucks clogging USA roads. Get real!

That’s right. Why should the US give any more attention to climate change if other major polluters are not giving it the importance that some scientists and globalists say it deserves? We mitigate our own carbon footprint. What are others doing to measure up? There’s your answer, 5hox.

@5hox, The USA already has done a lot more than any nation in the world in reducing its own pollution into the environment. That’s to land, water and air. What more does America need to reduce that China, India and a host of other emerging countries have not done or have any intentions of doing. Your ignorance is astounding that you will blindly have your own country suffer economic calamity to give the other countries I just mentioned a leg up to continue polluting the world at our expense. Sorry you refuse to understand, but we’ve done our share and more already. Hard heads like you that don’t care to reason or see the dire consequences of submissively bowing to the whomps of globalists will be the death kneel to our country one day. I hope I’m long dead if it comes to pass. This country of ours became the #1 superpower of the world, not because it was given to us. It’s because we fought and earned it. Yet we continue to aid many nations that need our help. We are number 1 in the world and need to remain as such. We don’t need to be told we aren’t giving enough or putting up our share. The globalist mindset is a cancer and it’s spreading. Too many people want to take something for nothing. Climate Change is a globalist mindset. Once every last polluting nation in the world pulls their own weight and makes further cuts according to their size, we can seriously start to address the so-called man made fossil fuel Climate Change issue. Just don’t go bashing America for being responsible for anything. I still think it’s a hoax science but any reasonable lowering of emissions is fine with me, so long as every country does the same and does so honestly.

Man made climate change maybe can't be proven conclusively. However, common sense tells you that with a world population now at 9 (?) billion and rapidly increasing and an ever increasing standard of living, which means more energy needed, along with loads of plastic waste being dumped into our oceans and landfills, something must be getting out of balance. The earth can only take so much. Eventually we will reach a tipping point if we have not already.

@5wuy, Don’t fall for that quack science of Climate Change. Keep in mind it was previously peddled as Global Warming by those like Al Gore until that redistribution of wealth scheme was debunked. These swings in global climate are naturally occurring and have occurred long before fossil fuels became the dominant energy source around the world. Man made CC is a hoax. Read reliable studies and ask probing questions. There’s no strong evidence for man made climate change.

Read the news - carbon emissions are higher than thought. It’s time to cut the consumption of fossil fuel to prevent the world becoming an oven. The oil industry will face a rapid decline.
