Human beings want connection even more than they want shiny content, and if it's available in essentially unlimited quantities over fiber optic networks at a reasonable price (because different retail providers use those same transport networks to compete for customer affection, thus driving down prices), they'll jump ship.
AT&T has no interest in selling connectivity, only content that rides that. To hell with the original business that pays the bills.
AT&T want to be Netflix, but bigger, are they trying to change their model and pull a fast one on consumers? I think so, to all the id--ts that have T products, expect higher prices and less service, lol
