Or are they too scared to focus on the holidays because the criminal investigation is ongoing and they could go and die in a federal prison?
I would have a hard time swallowing that turkey. Any thoughts?

Sadly, NO ONE IS GOING TO PRISON. It's a pipe dream, I assure you.
NO ONE in financial services EVER goes to prison. It's disgusting, but that's how the system works (doesn't work).
If Mozillo and others didn't go to prison -- or even face charges -- given subprime loans during housing crisis, no one else will.

Fat cats always get out unscathed, due to govt. protection. You can hate Elizabeth Warren all you want, but if there were more like her, more of these dishonest execs would go to prison.
I bet John Stumpf, Carrie Tolstedt, and all fired and going to get fired executives like Tim Sloan are gorging on platters of chilled seafood, foie gras, caviar, beef steaks, and venison for the holidays. They know this is their last proper meal before they are raided and placed into federal prison. Due to their age they might die inside.
I would ask Tim Sloan "what's your conversation, what's your situation"?
For those looking for new jobs this is not a good time of year to try and obtain a new job.
From Thanksgiving through New Year's day many people are out on PTO. The budget is
set through year end as well. New hiring usually picks up around late January and February.
The execs are in the middle of eating a turkey leg when the FBI comes for them.
My bosses and their "friends" are scurrying to different divisions to secure their jobs as they and their families are looking forward to their holiday and vacations. They know they are not losing their jobs....buying new cars and homes and enjoying the holidays. I, on the other hand, have children who are disabled and I will lose my insurance and income after twenty years with WF and a stellar record with the company. The holiday's are painstakingly close and my heart hurts and I cry every night that I will not be able to provide for my children for the first time ever. I have been applying for jobs internally at WF and outside without any luck.
Nobody is going to prison. If anything they might be slightly embarrassed, but that’s it. The low-level people who don’t know how they’re going to put food on the table in the coming months are suffering a lot more than people with millions in WF stock to fall back on
