Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Shunned

Is anyone else feeling shunned because youre not wanting another position in the club. My managers dont speak to me they talk over me instead of to me. December 7 will be a great day. I wish them good luck.

To those of you that feel shunned. Hold your head up you've done nothing wrong there will be a better opportunity out there for you.

For all the smart people that are making fun and think this all is a joke be ready because you're probably next.

Im not posting this to make anyone feel bad or boast but my Club has been nothing but supportive..... that is everyone but the cm, which isnt worth a second thought. I am so ready to go but will miss those special few people that still have a heart that hasnt been hardened by this place. To those who are leaving ...... dont let them get to you, they are no better than you are. Just let it go and ride out the storm ...... Dec 7th can not come fast enough ...... we are the blessed ones !

Feeling sorry for ourselves? They all have jobs! They all have medical benefits. Dental. A way to feed families. I have zero sympathy for them!

Yes. They are all disrespectful, especially the cm. Proves why I am leaving this company. They also ecpeft me to train the new person. Nope!

People make the mistake of believing they as an individual are important to Sam's. The management is trained to steer you toward believing in Sam's as if it were a worthy cause like saving whales. When a person wakes up , like Neo Waking up in his pod, they get flushed like Neo. Once you begin to operate in the full knowledge that all the Walmart culture c-ap is just that , c-ap , and take a stand for yourself the management acts as though you are becoming a traitor even though it is they who have been traitorous to you as a person all along. They genuinely want you to feel as though you should make a sacrifice for the sake of Sam's to their god Walmart. When you take that severance you mark yourself as a disgraced disciple to be shunned and whose nale is never to be spoken again....

Why are people so sensitive? It s---s your losing your job. Maybe your managers are bothered by it just as much as you. Maybe instead of playing the victim and feeling sorry for yourself and blaming managers(who have no control of what HO wants) you should be a little compassionate towards them, being that they as well are affected by these moves. I love this site. Really let's me see how many snowflakes there are in this company

They are ticked that things are going to spiral out of control, but they're directing it towards the easy target. This is where being a professional should step in. Instead you are seeing the riff raff that Sam's hires as management. I have come across some very decent and professional managers in my day. 2 out of the 3 got let go during the restructure. The third, I don't know because he transferred far away. That's how this joke of a company works. They just want the ones they can brainwash, and be their puppet. Too much knowledge, experience and balls to really do the right thing gets you walking papers.

They never really cared anyway, everyone is just a number (dollar figure for us long term) the ones that do care have embraced us. The company truly does not care about anyone it's just business, money and selfishness. Dont every think anything different long term have seen it all.

Nah Its a win for them when you don’t take severance. When you take severance they become a--holes as if that money is coming out of their pocket. They rather keep you in the club and take a reduction in pay. It’s the Sam’s Club culture. They would rather coach you out of your position of 25 years than you take severance.

Yes they have shunned us as well, this took place almost immediately. Maybe they are still trying to get used to the idea of us not being here.
