Company issues statement that all RPH and their asts are properly trained by the company on how and when to refuse dispensing of o---ids. This is how they are going to approach their defense. The employee knows better so we are going to do our own research and will offer them up by cleaning house prior to going to court. Watch out people time to get out.

Sad that people are looking for someone to blame, and have chosen RPH and pharmacies as the whipping boy. Dr.'s are the ones that bear the blame with their pill mills, pain clinics, and willing to do whatever they could to charge the insurance company a buck.
We quit selling c-gare--es so do the same with o---ids. Reduce access
Spartanburg county Sc has filed suit more counties to follow , They have listed Rite Aid . ??????? What is going on ? Pharmacists re the most trusted people in the USA!
KY has just filed suit against Walgreen's and CVS for the same thing.
Have not the states yet figured out that it is the AMA who is to blame for the d--g mess, not the Pharmaceuticals? Amazing!
Amazing how nobody is mad at DOCTORS, who have blood on their hands for turning people into o---id addicts. Wake up America, blame the malpractice attorneys and doctors for making this o---id mess
Cobb county Ga has filed
Emergency meetings called for Tuesday , holiday week. Mandatory list of modules sent to stores yesterday due by Dec 2nd. Ap assassin teams headed to high dispensing units. Company trying hard to place blame at store level. Do not look for support at any level it's everyone for themselves. Going back 7 years
There has been a ton of bad publicity these past cpl months. Everytime you hear something we have meetings and training modules that contradicts policy however the real issues are that the stores are being pulled in every direction and the right choice isn't clear for associates. If the public knew how rushed store teams are, how many different metrics we have, and what kind of stress we deal with then they would feel very uncomfortable getting scripts filled at the stores. It's not surprising to hear that we aren't doing enough. There's no time to look at anything without getting behind and blowing up your day/week/month and year scores that determine your performance review.
Just saw this on evening news. I understand Ga and Sc are preparing their own law suits. Bad times coming for pharmacy with dispensing above normal . This may be what makes the company change their abusive strategy
