Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

The CEO plans to cut prices

I can generally say that my opinion of this article is that it has a fair amount of praises for the company leadership, but regardless of that if the part about another wave of price cuts is true, I have to say that that is something that is desperately needed. All of the competitors set up better prices and offers, and for a moment it looked to me like we were all asleep. At the same time, customer service deteriorated. These price cuts that are announced, aren’t coming a moment too soon.

This page really took off after heavy layoffs a few years ago of people who had worked for the company for a decade. It's a capitalist company that doesn't care about you and will exploit you at all costs. Just because this dumpster is better than a dumpster fire doesn't mean it isn't filled with trash.

So tired of everyone complaining on this site . You are well paid and privileged compared to a lot of retailers . I worked in target , Home Depot , Walmart , Lowe’s and no dept managers are making $25-$37 a hour ( average is $18-$22). Team members making average $18 plus and you guys are Complaining . I know someone working for amazon and if you don’t know everything is monitored / measured . Everything you do is timed and you must account for all your time otherwise you will be written up for productivity . To work not directly for amazon you should be privileged and need to stfu and stop complaining . There plenty of people who would appreciate your job right now , so be thankful for it and stfu
