Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Shankar Mafia & their VP's/CIOS

If you have courage to put your own bandwagon all these years, and you should have wisdom to quit for the future of Verizon. Look at some of the VP’s under you, they don’t have business or technical knowledge and they considers themselves leading a technology organization. They can’t even speak properly. There are few more Yes boss directors under them similar like this. Everyone should be fired….Without any rational, these guys retain their jobs somehow by rebranding themselves, moving around simple changes in various units, changing their titles as cio…all bull sh--. You guys all know this is happening and played your own retention things 12 months prior to this. Typically a technology leaders choose strong talent, you choose week talent to you to lead such that they will dance to your trumpet. Sh--ty thing is when people are being moved to Infosys and strong talent is taking VRS….your people and bandwagon are planning for positions as scavangers and where should I be for your survival to keep job. What a facade…

If you have any ethical blood in your group...

All CIO’s, VP, and few non technical paper pushers/directors who are not technical should leave taking responsibility of this disaster.

Ask them to come on stage and talk for a hour whatever topic they like. That is the minimum qualification for a VP.

And here we thought that the executives were the ones divorced from reality and that the VPs and Directors below them were the ones left with trying to make things worse. You seem to agree on Shankar. What do you make of Vestberg's grip on reality?
