Verizon’s debt levels

As of September 30, Verizon’s long-term debt was $106.4 billion, while its short-term debt was $6.5 billion for total debt of $112.9 billion. However, Verizon’s total debt declined by $1.7 billion sequentially from $114.6 billion in the second quarter, as the company used realized cash benefits from tax reforms in 2018 to strengthen its balance sheet.

AT&T $175-$200 Billion and growing. They are spending as much in interest as VZ's short-term debt. T is going the wrong direction.
