Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Not a rumor. Today, people are getting cut.

Not only is this true but the mandatory workforce reduction includes technicians.

People have been saying that for more than 12 months.

Who could sit there while all of this is going on and not be worried about the next 12 months. Put some feelers out before you need a job and make new friends.

I think the site rules are no bad language and no mention of peoples names. Try that and see if you are still having your responses deleted

Person, you do not know anything. You are trying to start drama on this site. You refuse to provide where you have heard this information as you have been asked. You are strictly stirring the pot. If you can answer: how do you know? And when did you hear? If you answer only because I do, you are strictly an id--t, and a sh-- stirrer.

So the next one is 1/24 which is a Thursday and the next one isnt a Thursday! So much misinformation from the DISHONEST pot stirrers.

Guys, no one on this board knows anything.

This board is only accurate during a layoff event...Everyone's predictions are uniformed guesses.

Keep your resume up to date, be actively looking for better opportunities, and do the best you can while you are still employed by WIN.

This month layoffs will be 1-24-19... it's the 4th Thursday so your 2 weeks ends in next months period so your healthcare will be good until end of next month.

If you dont believe layoffs will take place in January than you are part of the Koolaid drinking group of fools... Look at 2018, stock drop to record lows and revenue is down, 2019 head count will be based off of 2018 numbers, as we speak they are cooking the books and will release 2018 results beginning of March. They already know how poorly 2018 did and will cut expenses by cutting employees in January so on the conference call with investors in March, they can say they did something to help remedy the problem.

I hope it is not the case, but people seem to put dates down to get a rise out of everybody. It is like they are playing with people’s emotions. I couldn’t agree more with the person below. Either post facts, or truths, or be quiet. I hate when people on this site would say: “I heard from my best friend who is a supervisor who heard from his director that there would be a layoff on this date.” It gets everybody upset, and there is no layoff. Post facts, or nothing at all.

FAKE NEWS! You people were saying there was a lay-off last month. Truth be told someone just puts a date or two on a Thursday every month and every once in awhile they may get lucky and look in the know. Post more facts or shut it.

Do you have a timeline for the 3 layoffs or are you saying they will all happen in January?
