Anybody else who accepted the offer but ended up being denied feels like they have a big target on their back right now?
I feel like I advertised my desire to leave this place (and my disdain for what Verizon has become) and now I'm stuck here with everybody knowing I don't want to be.
Now I feel trapped and I'm certain this will have an adverse affect on me for as long as I'm still here.
Talk about feeling screwed over...

Stop worrying. It will happen soo er or later, pick your time to make the. I’ve, on your time, or on the companies time. Either way, you control your future.
If they wanted you gone, they would have not denied you.
From their perspective, they said "you're too valued for us to pay you to leave".
Unless you have petty, vindictive management.
They will just rif you on gbe next round,
You can always look for another job. Market is good right now.
