Lance and other leaders have been very open saying there would be cuts first quarter next year. Jan 10ish has been a rumor floating around though I’ve yet to hear that from someone in leadership. But my VP have openly said first quarter in our department meeting. Early Jan rumor makes logical sense...since that would be before earnings release and bonus/merit announcements.

There are 3 months in a quarter so your headline of “January layoffs are guaranteed” is just stupid unless you name is Beth Whited you don’t know anything. Layoffs should be expected in first quarter (everyone has been open about that) but I think the rumor mill is leading people to freak out about mid Jan prematurely. When that comes and goes there will be another rumor date that’s gets everyone freaked out about. All anyone should expect is sometime in the first 3 months of 2019. Best wishes to everyone who gets cut and who gets stuck staying.

If youre in the glass palace reading this, and you arent related with blood to a general director or higher, best get one foot out the door asap. Only people left will be thier daughters, husbands, son in laws and nieces. Then they will run around on myup proclaiming they need a new run at culture change. Gee....i wonder why you can never change the culture...
